Location
Armoured Flame-maces can be found during the Barad Guldur raid in Mirkwood.
Abilities
- Fellowship Skill Immunity
- Fiery Soul
- Vile Haste
- Non-Threatening
- Difficulty Tier II On Tier 2
Tactics
Flame-armours in Barad Guldur have the Corruption Vile Haste, which reduces Attack Duration and Skill Inductions by 10% and reapplies itself every 6-7 seconds. The Corruption can be applied multiple times and stacks with itself, so it's best to remove it. (This corruption is called Corrupt Haste in the fight with Dúrchest but is otherwise identical.)
They do Common damage with their standard attacks but have Fire-based special attacks, including an Inferno attack which deals heavy fire damage and places fire on the floor that deals Damage over Time to any standing in it; and Fire Nova, which deals distributed Fire damage. They explode for Area of Effect fire damage upon defeat.
Mace-wielding Armours can stun and knock back their targets, which often inflicts Non-Threatening.
