Bestowal Dialogue

After encountering and defeating the elusive barrow-wight, Penthúl, you have claimed a trophy that may be of value to the Dúnedain of Cardolan. You inspect Penthúl's skull closely, searching for any sign of the fell spirit that once took hold of it. Its empty eyes do not meet your gaze, and you believe the bones to finally be at rest.

You should bring this trophy to Gaerion, a trophy-hunter and lore-keeper of the Dúnedain of Cardolan.

Gaerion: 'What are you doing with that? A bit grim, isn't it?'
Gaerion inspects Penthúl's skull closely, studying it in much the same way as you did. After a time, he places the skull gently on a nearby table.
'Alas for the Barrow-downs! Even after so many years of sorrow, the dead do not rest. For my part, I shall see to it that this poor soul is buried where the foul magic of old cannot find them.'
'Thank you, friend.'
