Walkthrough & Notes
Gondrad is on the road at [42.7S, 45.3W] - the camp is just off the road behind him. The road is patrolled by Variag Swordsmen and Variag Hound-keepers. Orc Message-bearers also wander the area. The camp is full of assorted Variags. The brooch is inside one of the Variag Chests inside the camp, there are about 5 of them but not all may need to be searched.

Background To ensure the return of her sons, Glánhar requires Jarl Akhiz's brooch to complete the ransom. Objective 1 Meet Gondrad near the rival captain's camp Find the rival Jarl's camp near the Firien Wood, in the western Beacon Hills. You have found the rival captain's camp Gondrad: 'That is the camp there, just as he told us it would be. You go on and steal back his brooch. I will remain here, doing my best to keep my head attached to my shoulders.' Objective 2 Find the stolen brooch The rival Jarl's camp is near the Firien Wood, west of Ost Rimmon. Search for the stolen brooch among the camp. Searched the chest Found the stolen brooch Objective 3 Talk to Gondrad Now that you have the stolen brooch, you should bring it to Gondrad, who waits near the camp in the Firien Wood. Gondrad: 'Why, there it is. And you don't look terribly bruised or bloodied, for all that. Things are going well for us so far, aren't they? It's how I know our luck must be about to turn.'
