Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Wold deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. From the spawn point wait for the wandering Carangam to pass by at speed from your right (east) then proceed up the slope behind it. If you draw it's attention it will indeed defeat you with one hit (character respawns at initial point of the instance). It inspires a dread effect when it comes close to you. Mobs are located generally on or to the right (west) of the sloping path ahead of you so move up defeating them while picking up the runes required for the associated instance quest. Defeat 10 to complete this quest. To leave the instance either return to the Horse at the original spawn point, or use the 'Leave Instance' function (right click the character portrait).

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The Easterlings trouble me, <name>. They have set up a large encampment along the eastern shores of the Anduin, to the north near our guard-towers. I fear a large incursion is coming soon, and we may be ill-prepared to handle it. 'I wish you to strike first. Enter this camp and bring the battle to the Easterlings. Let us not give them to opportunity to fight upon our shore.' Background The Easterlings have setup a massive encampment along the eastern shore of the Anduin. Objective 1 Defeat Easterlings at the Ford (0/10) The Easterlings can be found at the Ford. Wulfin has asked you to venture to the Ford and defeat the Easterlings encamped there. Wulfin: 'Are you ready to cross the Anduin and enter the Ford?' Enter the Public Instance: The Ford Objective 2 Talk to Wulfin Wulfin can be found in Harwick. Wulfin will be pleased to hear you disrupted the Easterling-camp at the Ford. Wulfin: 'They will regroup, but a few days respite is all we need to recover and heal our wounds.'
