Catapults can be found in the area just outside the eastern entrance of Osgiliath. Ballistae and Trebuchets are further east up the hill. Using any siege equipment will auto-bestow this quest.

Bestowal Dialogue These siege weapons were used in the taking of Osgiliath. They will most likely be deployed across the river as well. Destroying them now seems like a sound idea. Background Siege equipment used to take Osgiliath should be destroyed before it is moved across the river. Objective 1 Destroy Ballistae (0/3) Destroy Catapults (0/6) Destroy Trebuchets (0/5) Siege equipment can be found just outside of Osgiliath in Southern Ithilien. You should destroy the siege equipment before it can be conveyed across the river. Objective 2 Completed Destroyed the siege equipment. You have destroyed many pieces of siege equipment in Southern Ithilien and have weakened the grip of the Morgul-host on these lands.
