"Acting as Thane, Agelwyn must now venture out and lead her people to the safety of the Hornburg, where Théoden King plans to make his stand against the vast forces of Isengard."

Background

Agelwyn needs your aid in escorting her people to Helm's Deep across the dangerous plains of the Westfold.

Objective 1

Agelwyn can be found in the refugees' hiding spot north of Marton.

You should help Agelwyn lead her people to Helm's Deep.

Agelwyn: 'Everyone has gathered. I must address the people of Marton now....'

Objective 2

  • Listen to Agelwyn

Agelwyn can be found in the refugees' hiding spot north of Marton.

You should help Agelwyn lead her people to Helm's Deep.

Agelwyn says, "Everyone, I have asked you to gather to tell you that it is time for us to leave.
Agelwyn says, "I have come to realize that Marton is lost to us.
Agelwyn says, "The Fords have fallen, and Rohan is at war. The Westfold belongs to the enemy.
Agelwyn says, "Our friend here has gone to great lengths to find us a safe path to Helm's Deep.
Refugee says, "Helm's Deep! You would have us abandon our homes, woman?
Agelwyn says, "I know it is difficult, but we must flee! It is our best hope. It is what Gladsúnu wanted.
Refugee says, "Clearly you are unfit to lead a mouse to cheese, Lady Agelwyn, if this is your solution.
Agelwyn says, "It pains me, but...but I must insist. Please ready yourselves to ride at once!

Agelwyn's speech did not go as well as she hoped, but several people are still willing to follow her

Agelwyn is heartened by the good fortune encountered on the journey

Agelwyn and her party are travelling along the riverbank towards Helm's Deep.

Follow Agelwyn and keep her people safe.
