A Very Boffin Housewarming
It took some time getting here, but all's well that ends well, I suppose. At last Angelica will have her party!
Background
The Boffin children have all returned to Nobottle and now Angelica's housewarming party can happen without further delay.
Objective 1
Angelica is in her new home: 8 Honeymead Lane, Nobottle.
- Angelica Boffin: 'Thank you very much for coming to Yondershire to welcome me to my new home, <name>. It means a lot to me that you would take the time, and also that you would help gather all my siblings together again after they scattered to the winds!
- A worried expression suddenly crosses Angelica's face.
- 'They are still all here, right? Maybe you'd better check.'
Objective 2
- Check the sitting room for Boffins
- Check the kitchen for Boffins
- Check the storage room for Boffins
Angelica thinks you should check that her siblings are all still here, and haven't gone missing again.
- Co-conspirators Camellia and Dinodas are here, of course
- Fosco and Esmeralda are in the sitting room
- Marigold and Griffo are in the dining room
- Berilac has found himself a napping spot
Objective 3
Angelica is waiting for your report in her new home.
- Just as you finish telling Angelica (with some surprise) that her siblings are all still here and have not gone a-wandering, there is knocking on the door.
- Angelica Boffin: 'I thought you said they were all here?' the hobbit girl asks you.
- Angelica Boffin says, "No matter. I'll get it!"
Objective 4
Bingo stands in the hallway of Angelica's new burrow, smiling cheerfully.
- Bingo Boffin: 'This must be Magetha Grubb!' Bingo offers cheerfully.
- 'Shortly after returning from Tighfield, I bumped into Angelica's new neighbour. She had nothing but the kindest things to say about her visit with you and Camellia, <name>, and I thought it would be a nice gesture to invite her to Angelica's housewarming party, along with her whole family.'
Objective 5
- Survive the housewarming party without embarrassment
A visitor has come to 8 Honeymead Lane during Angelica's housewarming party.
- Camellia Boffin says, "Wait..."
- Camellia Boffin says, "Her whole family?"
- Angelica Boffin says, "Oh my!"
- Magetha Grubb says, "Thank you for inviting me and my lovelies to your party!"
- Magetha Grubb says, "I have to leave my small ones at home during the day, and I miss them so."
- Angelica Boffin says, "There are so many creatures in my house..."
- Angelica Boffin says, "I love it!"
- Magetha Grubb says, "I am so glad, neighbour!"
- Magetha Grubb says, "I wanted to thank you for the very thoughtful gift."
- Magetha Grubb says, "It had never occurred to me that there was such a tradition."
- Angelica Boffin says, "I beg your pardon?"
- Bingo Boffin says, "I am sorry to interrupt, but I have had a thought."
- Bingo Boffin says, "I understand that Magetha's work brings her all over Yondershire during the day."
- Magetha Grubb says, "It does, now more than ever."
- Bingo Boffin says, "And that means that all of your creatures must get quite lonely while you are away."
- Magetha Grubb says, "It's true, and I miss them so!"
- Bingo Boffin says, "Well, what do you think, Dinodas?"
- Bingo Boffin says, "Do you know anyone who loves to take care of animals?"
- Dinodas Boffin says, "Not really."
- Camellia Boffin says, "Dino! We know someone JUST LIKE THAT!"
- Camellia Boffin says, "Our sister Angelica!"
- Magetha Grubb says, "It would not be too great a bother, would it?"
- Angelica Boffin says, "Not at all! I would like nothing better!"
- Angelica Boffin says, "Look at all the dear ones!"
- Bingo Boffin says, "Then it's settled."
- Camellia Boffin says, "Welcome to Yondershire, Angelica!"
- Marigold Boffin says, "Welcome to Yondershire!"
- Esmeralda Boffin says, "Hooray!"
- Dinodas Boffin says, "Welcome to Yondershire, Angelica!"
Objective 6
Angelica is beside herself with excitement.
- Angelica Boffin: 'Did you and my siblings arrange for this, <name>? you must have! Imagine: I can spend all day taking care of Magetha's menagerie... I am so pleased I moved here.
- 'This is the very finest housewarming present I could have imagined! thank you all so much.'
Objective 7
Prisca is pleased that everything turned out well.
- Prisca Boffin: 'You should have told me what you and Bingo were planning, <name>! I am sorry I was so suspicious before... clearly all of my children had their own errands to attend to in order to set up this surprise for Angelica.
- 'At any rate, all is well now. of all my children, only Angelica would forgive so many animals loose in her new home! Keep that in mind when the next one moves out, <name>: Fosco will not be so happy with such a gift. Maybe a decoration will suit him better: a painting of a boat, perhaps.
- 'Thank you for all you have done! This was a lovely day after all!.'
- Bingo Boffin: 'What a pleasant party this was! Quite enjoyable for everyone, I would say.
- 'Might I speak with you, <name>? Outside, I think.'
