Angrod was brother to Galadriel, Finrod Felagund and Aegnor.
He was born in Valinor and followed his uncle Fingolfin's host to Middle-earth along with his siblings.
He settled with his brother in the northern slopes of Dorthonion.
In the end, he and his brother Aegnor were killed during the Battle of Sudden Flame, when Morgoth's forces burst forth and broke the Siege of Angband and the Long Peace.
