LM Guide updates
Welcome to the wiki! Thank you for your work on updating this guide.
I realize that this is a work in progress, and only have a couple of suggestions so far, make of them what you will.
Since this page is a ton of text, reading it can be difficult at best. Even more so by the gaps in the flow created by inserting the skill icons in the middle of the text. It might be a better idea to put the skills (and their icons) in a table to the side of the text for reference.
Also, various links you have added to the page take people to the editing page for the intended subject (section). This is easily caused by copying the links from the preview inside the editing page (probably from the ToC). One such link is for read more about playing Red. It currently uses [https://lotro-wiki.com/w/index.php?title=Guide_to_the_Lore-master&action=submit#Red:_Damage_role read more about playing Red]
, and it should be something like [[Guide_to_the_Lore-master#Red:_Damage_role|read more about playing Red]]
.
As always, feel free to ask questions by either responding here, on my talk page or via the Discord. ~ Galbus (talk) 12:08, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I will replace the icons with screen caps of trait trees. My opinion is that it looks better with the icons than without, and visual appeal is part of readability. Maybe it looks worse on phones?
- I have including all the relevant icons and fixed the links.
- I think the page needs to be considered more holistically now, and we should decide what to do with the second part of it. I noticed the main LM page is also out of date in a smaller way.
