First of all, sorry if main page talk is the wrong place for this, but I didn't know where to put it.

I propose that the http://semantic-mediawiki.org/ extension be installed here. Why? This wiki is heavily data-based and thus would benefit greatly from it. I got the inspiration for this proposal by recently making an edit to update the level of a quest. I had to change the number in 3 places, and maybe there are places I missed that still have the old value.

With SMW, quest level (or anything else) would be a property of a quest page (or any page with data) which could be referenced, thus getting rid of redundant work (writing the value manually in all relevant places) and making sure inconsistencies do not creep in (like they do when one doesn't update the value in all places). SMW would also enable easy querying of available data to, for instance, display all quests sorted by level, or grouped by region or NPC, etc. In short, the possibilities would be numerous, and maintenance of data would be easier.
