Description
Physical Description Hithlond has been practicing the art of archery for thousands of years and has become a master archer. He is tall and has long, blonde hair.
Personality Description: Hithlond was born on a misty day in a port in Valinor, as 'hith' means "mist" and 'lond' means "land-locked haven." He is always striving to make Middle-earth a better place. He also tries to show people the Light in the Darkness.
Bio
Before Hithlond came to Middle-earth Manwë, Chief of the Valar, gave him a special bow. Engraved in this bow were the words Trust in this bow and it can slay anything. Hithlond later arrived in Middle-earth with his father, Imin, and his mother Iminyë (who started the Vanyar clan). One year after their arrival Hithlond's mother gave birth to a girl, who was named Adril. After being in Middle-earth for a thousand years, Hithlond was given the choice to go back to Valinor, but he refused saying that his task in Middle-earth was not complete.
One afternoon Hithlond and Adril were hunting in the forest that would later be known as Greenwood the Great, when the ground in front of them opened up and a large creature came out. This creature was called a Rogmul, but its name was Gwathnor. Hithlond grabbed his bow and Adril picked up her rune-stones. They fought valiantly, but Gwathnor grabbed Adril and disappeared into the ground. Hithlond swore to kill this beast some day. For five thousand years he hunted for it, but to no avail. Hithlond decided that it isn't worth wasting his life to avenge his already-dead sister, so he continued the never-ending battle against evil.
In the Third Age, Hithlond lived in the forest called Mirkwood when he was summoned to war by Calenglad, leader of Tinnudir. He mounted his horse Nurnhand (famous for jumping off cliff) and rode to Evendim. Once he arrived in Evendim, he battled against the Angmarim in Annuminas. For three months he fought there, when a raven delivered a message to him that Forochel needed soldiers to help push-back and upcoming battle against Gauradain and Wights. Hithlond along with, two men, two elves, two dwarves, a woman and a company of Rangers travelled to Forochel.
Hithlond and his men, along with his future friend Guroduath, got ready for the battle. The Lossoth of Forochel were tricked, because they thought a battle was near when really the wights unleashed a terrible plague that killed over half of the people in Forochel. With the remaing men Hithlond and Guroduath attacked the wights and defeated them. Torahammas was defeated by Jâna (Guroduath's future wife) and Guroduath.
