Description
Physical Description: Evelyn is just a little on the tall side for a Woman. She is not fat but her muscles are not overly developed, either, as she balances her time between fighting too-aggressive creatures and studying all manner of texts. What makes her remarkable is not the condition of her body, but the exaggerated awkwardness with which she moves. Every step seems a hairsbreadth away from disaster; every seat is an invitation to a fall. Somehow, though, she always seems to recover her balance and never seems to hurt herself.
Personality Description: Evelyn comes from the Men of Dale, a normally stolid and pragmatic group. She herself is unusually playful. She acts as if everything is a great game and she is delighted (or sometimes, comically dismayed) to be a part of it. She is dead serious about her responsibilities to her kinship, though. While she may act lightheaded or foolish she usually knows what she is doing, and she doesn't let her ridiculous air interfere with her duties.
Bio
Evelyn doesn't discuss seriously her reasons for leaving Dale. As far as she will tell, she simply came to Bree-land and joined the Guardians of the House of Flint when someone told her that they offered free pies to new recruits. She was sadly disappointed by the lack of pie, but decided to stay anyway - and now they can't get rid of her.
