Description
Physical Description: Rory is of the Fallowhide stock, being slightly fairer than his Stoor or Harfoot cousins. He stands a good 3 feet, 4 inches. Which is a rather proper size by hobbit standards. He keeps his auburn locks rather somewhat short, making it less fuss about hair in his face. Rory has a healthy hobbit-appetite, which does tend to show about his waist. The many miles of travel does help to keep this from getting out of hand, but he is not a slender hobbit. Green eyes sparkle as they take in his surroundings, which often lead to him spotting something that will inadvertently get him into some sort of foolishness. Rory enjoys the feel of the earth beneath his feet, which he keeps bare for this very reason.
Personality Description: Rory is a well-mannered sort of hobbit, keeping his mind on the etiquette of his surroundings. His mood is often pleasant, looking for the light in any gloomy situation. Overall, he keeps a cheerful attitude in much that he does. He is also VERY curious, as are many hobbits from the Took-line. It is that curiosity that first enticed him out of the Shire, and the very thing that lead him through many adventures. Despite his wanderlust, Rory has a great love of the Shire, and returns home often. There is no other place like the Shire for him, and no other place he would call home.
Bio
Rory comes the Took-line of hobbits, born and raised in Tuckburough. Growing up, he held a fondness for the tales from old Bilbo Baggins, and his adventures outside of the Shire. In his tweens, Rory decided he would go out and learn the stories and songs from other lands, and perhaps live a few new tales of his own. Taking up several instruments, he learned the path of a minstrel. His adventures began shortly after the departure of one Frodo Baggins, as dark visitors began to turn up within the Shire.
The road proved to be filled with both excitement and danger. Rory's journey took him to great reaches of new lands. His skills and talents improving as his experience of the world grew. Both joy and sorrow have been meet on his journey, and meeting new and interesting folk. During his travels he has acquired a sword of old, named Elensilma; elvish for "Star of Silver". His sword glows bright when in the presense of ancient evils. He has also collected many songs and tales, which go to aid him in the further encouragement and morale building of those who might travel along side him.
Not departing without other skills, Rory became a better than decent cook, and a rather successful farmer. His skills have grown since his departure, and has many recipes under his belt. He currently is working on his skills as a tailor, though this has been a slow and arduous process.
Friends and Enemies
Rory has encountered many good folk along his journeys. He enjoys the joy of fellowshiping with many others along the way. Rory strives to be as friendly and curtious to anyone he meets.
There are not many he would count as an actual enemy. If there are any out there, he is blissfully unaware of them.
