Unlike the typical Rohirrim features, Ordrid has a darker hair colour. Average height and build, Ordrid is a fine warrior.
- Personality Description:
Friendly but quiet. Doesn't suffer fools gladly. Still is willing to help as befits a guardian.
Bio
Ordrid was a captain under Eomer. When Sauruman's forces began to raid Rohan Ordrid was captured in an early fight. Sauruman ordered captives to be sent northwards into Breeland to be camp slaves for the brigand armies there. The convoy Ordrid was being carried in was assaulted by rangers and breelanders. Ordrid was captured again and thrown into Archet jail. Knowing Ordrid to be of fine and honourable stock, Strider freed Ordrid from jail. Since then Ordrid has helped to save Breeland, The Shire, Erid Luin, The Lone Lands, The North Downs, The Trollshaws, The Misty Mountains, Angmar, Forochel and Eregion from it's enemies and earning the trust of it's peoples. Ordrid found himself looking through the new market in Bree only to find his old Rohan armour for sale. Even though he knew it to be his, he had to pay for it, least it fall into someone else's hands. Whilst travelling through the Trollshaws, Ordrid happened upon a group of travellers fighting off some spiders. Helping them out he was inducted into their society. A few days later Ordrid joined forces with more of this society to fight off the evils in Garth Agarwen. He made good friends with two in particular, an Elf Huntress and a fellow Man Guardian. They shared many adventures but eventually fate took their paths in different directions. Since then Ordrid has helped the free peoples of Evendim, Enedwaith, Moria, Lothlorien, Mirkwood, The Great River, Rohan and Gondor. And also surprisingly the peoples of Dunland who Ordrid would usually be at odds with. Through this he earned a new respect for them especially those who were also against Sauruman. When entering Rohan, Ordrid was shocked to see it ablaze and under seige by Orcs and Uruks. Knowing the land and it's peoples he gathered his strength and led the fightback against Rohan's foes. Eventually he found himself before his King and his Leige. Eomer had heard of his former captain's exploits in uniting the land. Ordrid witnessed the cleansing of Theoden. His King and Captain discussed Ordrid and decided against reinitiating him into Eomer's company. He had done such a great job rallying Rohan that they sent him to finish the job as Sauruman's army began to march.
