Description

Physical Description: Tinnael is Noldorin elven maid with long, black hair, which she usually tie in bun for more comfortable hunting. Her eyes are deep blue and her skin has light orange tone. As all of ther race, Tinnael is tall and slim in the eyes of other races, but among the Elves, she is unusualy short, having only 160 cm. She loves purple and blue color, but if you meet her on hunt, she will have probably green and brown hunting uniform to make her less visible between trees.

Personality Description: Tinnael is elegant, but joyous elf always willing to help the others. Unlike many Eldar, she live to the fullest, exploit every minute of her life for helping others or learning new things. She has some Men's traits, such as love for the Sun and meat food, for she spent time among them. Tinnael is also very curious as most Noldorin elves and unlike them, she loves to swim due to her mother's Falmari heritage. She has faith in race of Men, as she lived among them few years and understand their nature. Her second name Vaniell makes honor to Vala of Youth Vána Ever-young for her never fading mind and heart (unlike many Eldar, she seems to not get tired of the burden of world). Tinnael believes in freedom and will rarely try to forcibly change minds of people around her even when their decisions are wrong in her eyes, so she may seems careless to others as she mostly gives advices only when she is asked. She has also tendency to want to be in more places at once, which makes her sometimes tardy and usually hard to catch up with.

Bio

Tinnael was born in secon half of Secon Age as child of Noldorin Lore-master Lindor and Telerin Guardian Uruviel in Lindon. She is also descendant of Gondolin's House of Fountain and throught her father, grand-daughter of Ecthelion of the Fountain. When he died in Fall of Gondolin, her father escaped to Lindon and offered his help to Ereinion Gil-galad and became Lore-master and Minstrel in his free-time. Here, he met Uruviel, young white-haired guardian and fell in love with her.

Tinnael was born from this union, althought born quite late. She spent her young years traveling outside of kingdom, eager to see new people and learn new things. She spent some years among Rangers of the North, learing from them the art of hunting in exchange for her elven skills. As her experiences growed, Tinnael became good in seeing others intentions and personality, which makes her somewhat simillar to modern psychologists and skilled in art of heart-reading.

After the War of Last Alliance, her parents leave to Valinor and time came her to choose her work. She has became Messenger of Círdan for her knowledge of the land and as Hunter, became one of the defenders of Grey Havens. When not needed, Tinnael spent her free time helping with ship building, becoming one of the few Noldor, who can swim, understand ships or can even forecast weather. Throught years, she became friend with Círdan and in times he is not in Mithlond, his representative.

When Lord Elrond gets strange dream, he contacted Círdan, elf who build Edhelion and asked for advice. However he was unable to help, Círdan send Tinnael, to meet with Elrond's son Elladan. She was asked by him to investigate and solve disturbing dream of Elrond. Tinnael find red roses leading her to Silver Deep Mine, place where Scorgrím's body was found. However she finds only more red roses flowering around. Her journey leads her to Scorgrím's Tomb, speech of Servant Gormr makes her feel that something is wrong - uneasy feeling. As she travels to Thorin's Gate, Tinnael met Dwalin, loyal friend of Thorin Oakenshield which asked her for investigating reasons of dwarven illness. Her instinct leads her to poisoned spring on mountainside and to Elrohir, which is here for same reason. Together, they were able to make cure from herbs found in Mirkstone Tunnels. Even when darkness and evil spirits enter them, there were still plants, which can heal. Bringing hope to Dwalin, she came back to him, falling asleep on near bed. she had strange dream, where lady Galadriel talks to her, encouraging her to continue the journey.

Tinnael, Dwalin and sons of Elrond later travel to Scorgrím's Tomb, to stop him from enter the world of living ones again. They became witnesses of ressurection of Scorgrím, but its not him, who she is afraid of. Ivar The Bloodhand, evil spirit was one, who help him to awake. As he tried to stop them, he makes the walls of Tomb falls and company have to run out and leave dwarves be. After this, Tinnael decide to stay in Ered Luin to help Duillond elves fight agains evil spread here from this incident.

Names

• Tinnael - name from Sindarin language, where Tin is world for sparkle of star and -ael, meaning of pool. Her name could be translated as Pool of Sparkling Stars, reference to her blue eyes.
