Description

Jacquen is a handsome, young Hobbit from the Fallohide region. He has light brown, untidy yet stylish hair, with dazzling blue eyes. He is fairly broad-shouldered and in good shape, although his figure does tend to slack during the festive seasons.

He is often described by those he meets as incredibley quick witted and charming. His masterful way with words has granted him many friends in high places, and his quick wit has been used many times to get him out of spots of bother. He tends to stay calm in even the most demanding of situations, and tries to avoid combat whenever possible. But if the need ever does arise for Jacquen to take up arms and defend those in need, his skill with dual wielding daggers will be sure to take his foe by surprise. Jacquen is also an avid musician, and already having mastered the art of playing the clarinet and lute, he is looking for a minstrel that can teach him the ways of the harp. An honourable hobbit loved by all those he meets, Jacquen is the kind of guy you'd want to have at your back in battle, or by your side around the fire in The Prancing Pony, sharing glorious stories of adventure and courage, whilst enjoying a pint of Barliman's Best.

Bio

Being a Took growing up in the slums of Bree, Jacquen often felt like an outsider during his early ages. The older boys tended to pick on the poor hobbit sleeping in the gutter at the side of the road. The beatings taught him the valuable lesson that it is sometimes better to avoid combat than engage in it. The hard life in the slums made him what he is today, one of the best burglers in all of Eriador. When he was old enough, Jacquen left Bree with almost nothing and travelled to the Shire in hope of a better life and a more friendly neighbourhood. Whilst on the road to Hobbiton, Jacquen took a wrong turning and found himself in Old Odo's Leaf Farm, where he was kidnapped by Brigands. He was later rescued by the Ranger, Strider, who escorted him safely to Archet, where his real adventure began. Since then, Jacquen has become an esteemed member of the Mathom society in Michel Delving, an expert tailor, crafting only the finest leather and linen armor, and is a welcome face throughout Bree, as well as performing every week at the Prancing Pony.

Allies

- Dreigrim the Dwarf: Whilst on his travels, Jacquen found this young, inexperianced Dwarf lost in the plains of Ered Luin. After escorting him safely back to Thorin's Gate, Jacquen stayed friends with Dreigrim, and they have helped eachother with many tasks since.

- Orlif the Dwarf. Orlif showed great kindness to Jacquen when he gave him so Bear skins he needed to pay off a debt. He then went on to invite Jacquen to his current Guild, Warriors of Estel, of which he has become a significant part of.

- Achiemas the Elf. Achiemas is Jacquen's main provider of dyes, which Jacquen is very fond of as his appearance is important to him. Their bartering of products between one and other eventually led to a strong friendship, which still stands today.
