Doleanor
Doleanor, whose Surname is revealed to few, took up arms as a champion when she was only 55 years old and still a teen. Her desire to slay and destroy servants of the enemy makes her a fierce and brave warrior, unyielding in battle, fueled by hate and sorrow and anger. Her parents were slain along with Celebrimbor when the Dark Lord ravaged Eregion and she was forced to flee under the care of Lord Elrond and a few others of his house. Specializing in two-handed axes and swords, her stern nature and steel will is worthy of a battle with the dreaded Witch-king. |
When a chance wandering took her to the lands of the north, she marveled at the cold environment of Forochel, and grew to love the harsh landscape and its people, the Lossoth of Forochel. Sadly, when she learned that the Hollin gate was to be opened (She was quite an elf unlike any other) she said her farewells to the ice people, and left to help the Iron Garrison in their reclamation of Moria. |
However, under her thick steel armour Doleanor has the heart of an elvish woman. She loves poetry and playing with the elven children, but her more mature side longs for a memorable event. She tends to retire to Rivendell on one of those stressful days, tidy her hair, and go to parties with her best friend Ravalinde, although she does not share Ravalinde's love for beer. The latter always ends up with Ravy (what Doleanor calls her) arguing with Doleanor over the finery and pleasures of ale-drinking. |
