Description
Physical Description: Lean, and yet muscular, Helaphir is an old Lore-master of Minas Tirith, the Tower of the Guard. He is at one with nature, hence his predilection for the colour green. Although most Lore-masters are seen as 'old people who need walking sticks', Helaphir has seen battle many times, and is still very able with a sword. He goes against the tradition of wearing robes, often seen wearing a hauberk as green as the forest, and a cloak from Lórien.
Personality Description: He is a kind old man, but can be swift to anger, if antagonized. He works closely with Maldoradan Aesuthiel, the leader of The Light from the First Age, and is a recognised officer of the kin. He cares greatly for his friends, and is often seen helping them when battles turn sour. He is approchable, and he has a peculiar fondness of pipe-weed.
Bio
Born in Minas Tirith, he spent most of his time playing the lute on the streets outside his home. His father died when he was young, and his mother turned him away in grief. He then left the city, a young teenager, barely approaching manhood, when he was approached by two elves of Lórien, Maldoradan Aesuthiel, and Kiriaz Ellyan. They gave him food, and saw to it that he arrived safely in Rivendell, as that is where they were headed. There, he learned the ways of a Loremaster, and moved on to Bree, a young man. He is in eternal debt to the two elves, who helped save his life, and will do anything to help them, if they should need it. He then traveled throughout Eriador, learning new skills and becoming a more powerful Lore-master. On a stay in Ered Luin, Helaphir came upon a gravely injured Dwarf, Adhal. Isolated in Rath Teraig, Helaphir gained various herbs from his surroundings, creating various potions to help bring this Dwarf back to good health. They are now close friends, and helped clear the shadow of the Enemy in various places, such as the Lone-Lands and Eregion.
Helaphir, now amongst the Riders of Rohan, met two Rohirric Guardians, Endwyn and Vidback. They helped in the ways of the Rohirrim, and they can be found hunting orcs on the plains of Rohan.
Friends and Enemies
Friends:
- Maldoradan, Kiriaz, Amilvorn, Hathillan, Endwyn & Vidback. He has a close friendship with Adhal, a Dwarf of the Blue Mountains, and is often seen roaming Middle-Earth with him, looking to take the battle to the Enemy.

- All servants of Sauron.
