Bio

Roibo Tookwood born in 2968 of the Third Age was the son of Soibo & Alani Tookwood. Roibo spent his childhood growing up on his family's farm. His father was a pony breeder and so in turn Roibo had a fondness for the beasts. He learned to ride a pony at early age a skill that later became useful.

When he was just a tween, he was hit by the adventurous streak known to run in the family, and vanished from the Shire. The young hobbit attempted to sail across the sea in the west when his boat was lost in a storm. Roibo washed ashore unconscious but alive and was found by Arch Stout who was on patrol at the time. The two became friends and Roibo stayed with him while he recovered. Roibo grew up from the adventurous tween to a seasoned warrior after many adventures with Arch fighting off roving bands of goblins where he proved to be a capable fighter and earning his badge of honor, the three scars across the right side of his face. During this time he tamed the wild pony, Swiftfoot, who would serve as one of his mounts to the end of their days. When Roibo became of age he married Evonne, Arch's younger sister, and had their first child.

In the year 3018 Roibo returned to his beloved home in the Shire, after parting ways with Arch who went off to search for the missing folks of his homeland of Stone Wood Hollow who had all been driven off by the dragon Refremaf, only to find things weren't as he left them. After having witness the assault on Archet while on his journey home, he became a Bounder to protect the lands from the outside threat believing that war was coming to their peaceful world. While on patrol as a Bounder and resting in his camp, he met Bugo Dughall after the burglar attempted to steal his pony, Barney. Feeling pity for the ill and starving Bugo, Roibo took him in to save the younger hobbit from death and sort of became a father figure to him.

Sometime during the winter of that year, Roibo met Ivren Bagadin,a travelling minstrel, and learned that Ivren and Bugo were both part of the missing folks that Arch had long since set off to search for.

Several years later, Roibo journeys with Sapphiria, Spilgo, and Iridot in an attempt to find a cure for the ailing Bugo believing if they attack the dragon that inflicted wounds and torture on the poor hobbit that they could break what seemed like a curse. They discover they are being followed by Bugo and the others. Later on after the two groups finally merge and after several setbacks, they meet the young leader Maragrin Bagadin (Ivren's cousin) and the other hobbits of Stone Wood Hollow as well be reunited with Arch. Maragrin was planning the revenge for the death of his father and the taking back of his home from the dragon. Roibo agreed to help in the assault.

Roibo set off with the Stone Wood Hollow hobbits to return to their home and mount an attack on Refremaf. The group had to fight their way through an army of goblins under the control of the dragon before the final battle with the worm himself. He led the mounted warriors into battle. During the fight with goblins, Roibo engages the goblin who gave him his scars and kills him after the goblin stabs him in the shoulder. Roibo was injuried farther in the first attempt to attack the dragon's weak point, the soft belly, after being slammed into a tree from a tail whip. He stayed in Stone Wood Hollow to recover from his injuries and help with the rebuilding. He was present at the burial to honor the death of Maragrin who died delivering the final killing blow to Refremaf.
