Description
Minstrel of the Race of Man who is always willing to help others in need. He values his friends and works hard to keep the reputation of his kinship (The Alliance) high. Not so much concerned with finding the shiniest weapons or armor, but that doesn't mean he'll pass up on them if he encounters nice items.
Fordil used to be the Defender of The Alliance, part of the Leadership Council that leads this great kinship, but has stepped down since due to other responsibilities taking up much of his precious time. Having joined them many, many years ago, Fordil is one of the most experienced members with very few other still in the kin having joined before him.
Biography
One day, Fordil was practicing his lute in the forests of Chetwood, nice and calm, when suddenly he heard people talking in the distance. Since he had played that lute part over and over again, at countless parties, he decided to get up and hide behind a bush to hear what these travellers were talking about.
At first, Fordil couldn't really make much of the discussion, something about danger on the road, trolls during the night and farmer Maggot's dogs chasing the group throughout entire Eriador for what they did a few days ago. But then, one of the hobbits in the company mentioned the elves of Rivendell, and how excited he was to meet them. Rivendell! Some of these elves really have incredible skill when it comes to playing music and writing poetry!
At that point, Fordil decided to stop working as a solo musician who performs at kids birthday parties, and wanted to start traveling around the world. He tried to follow the group around a bit, but they seemed to have a good guide who knew all the small, hidden paths, so Fordil lost track already after a few days.
Not so much later, he found them again - although not in the circumstances he thought he would... After helping the elves discover what happened with some mysterious black riders, Fordil got more and more involved in the story of the Fellowship, and now he's too deep in and too worried about the future of Middle-Earth to ever go back to Bree before their task is completed...
