Bio
Faendir is an elf of Lindon, born in the year that the Istari came out of the West on their great ship. Being of that age, he has spent much of his younger life watching the sorrow of his parents as the Shadows lengthen over Middle Earth; at least, until they departed the Havens. The North Kingdoms of Man had fallen under the Witch King's sway, and for two who had seen already the fall of many bright things, it was too much to bear.
In grief, Faendir joined the host of Lindon as it accompanied King Earnur of Gondor in his campaign against the Witch King. Not long did he deem he would live, torn between his love of this Middle Earth, and the strength of his parent's grief and loss. Death, and Halls of Mandos would have claimed him, where it not for a valiant Man, a great captain of the Dunedain, who clove his way through a ring of foemen to save Faendir's life.
Heartened by the existance of such good in the world, Faendir's hurts were mended, and for a time he stayed with the few bands of Men who still guarded the marches of the North. However, the loss of his friend, now bent with age, some scant decades later drove him home again, to Lindon, and the ill-fated haven of Edhellond.
