Description
Physical Description:
Augustin has very typical elven features. He is tall with a slender yet muscular build. His hair is raven black and shoulder length. He is most often seen in his trademark full blue body armor. Though encumbered by heavy armor, his movements seem graceful and light. His expression is generally somber, but he never looks stern or enraged.
Personality Description:
In Lindon they know him as Augustin the Vain. He has a strong interest in fashion and appearances. Often he will choose his equipment and weaponry based more on aesthetics rather than on effectiveness. He believes that nothing is worth doing if it isn't done well. But if you're going to do it, you might as well look good in the process. His superficial nature not withstanding, Augustin tends to be very loyal to his friends, quick to come to another's aid, and unconcerned with status. A true Guardian, he always answers the call to battle.
Bio
Augustin is an elf from Lindon of the Plantagenet house. His family has long been known for their kinship and interest in men. Following the family tradition, Augustin has established a home in Bree and adopted much of their customs and philosophies. His eagerness for battle and brash behavior often kept him at odds with his elven brethren. Though he is very much at home among men, one passion serves to link him with his elven ancestry, love of beauty. When relaxing, Augustin immerses himself artistic and fashionable endeavors. While many see his pursuits as egotistical, his interpretation would be that he has an appreciation of the arts and a keen sense of style.
Augustin left Lindon to see the world at an early age. More driven by a need to satiate his appetite for battle than for curiosity. He followed martial pursuits and eventually joined a group dedicated to fighting the forces of evil, Auth a Sidh. Since joining them, he has found some measure of satisfaction as they constantly engage the enemy day in and day out. He hears the call to battle above all else for now. Perhaps one day, like his fellow elves he will hear the call of the sea.
