Description

Targon is the Quartermaster of the Citadel Guard. As such, he is responsible for the stores and supplies to feed the members of the Guard. He stands on the wall of the Sixth Circle, near the Dome of the Sun. Behind him is the Barracks of the Citadel. Targon has no quest involvement at this time.

He later attends the wedding of Aragorn and Arwen, and can be found in the feast-hall of Merethrond after the wedding ceremony, seated with several Wardens and Guild-masters of the City.

Lore

Targon appears in The Lord of the Rings, Book 5, Chapter 1, Minas Tirith. It is he who provides a meal to Pippin and Beregond after the hobbit's difficult interview with Denethor.
