Me and a friend have already killed a large number of these scourges for the slayer deeds, so we have hunted for a number of days. That being said, yesterday we each hunted the scourges several times to try to find one scourge (Spitfyre) and it was no where to be found, after several rotations of hunting. Is there a known bug that sometimes prevents them from spawning?--Mirablue5 (talk) 14:11, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

There are discussions on Reddit and the LOTRO forum regarding the Spitfyre spawning problem. Personally, I haven't experienced this issue (though I haven't been in Mordor for years), but it might be related to a glitchy spawn point, similar to problems seen in Mirkwood, where a certain location doesn't trigger correctly. I’m not certain about this specific case, but if it follows the same pattern, defeating the other four Scourges could be necessary for Spitfyre to appear. Tiberivs (talk) 17:53, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
