You get almost all your active skills from your class trainer. You visit him or her and purchase the skill.

Most of those skill that you don't purchase for the trainer, you gain from completing deeds. But for all of those, you must visit a Bard to slot the trait that enables the skill.

If anywhere, this question needs to be addressed at the character level, as it applies to all classes and almost all skills.

I never found the page confusing, but perhaps it is. It could contain a complete sentence in English and not just the plain but correct data items. -- Zimoon 07:56, 4 January 2013 (EST)
