Wards of Eridor is a Vilya Server Kinship

WoE was formed by a small group of adventuring friends who became disillusioned with the behavior of their leadership and certain individuals in their previous kinship. We are by no means a hard core Kinship and all have real lives and responsibilities that take precedence over LOTRO. Though we don’t have any sort of age minimum or maximum we do expect Kin to act mature and courteous to one another.

Wards of Eriador Charter

1. LOTRO is a game and as such is meant to be fun.

2. Members of this Kinship need to remember that conversations in text boxes and posts in the forums can easily be misinterpreted therefore Kin should think about what they are writing before they post.

3. We are Heroes and should conduct ourselves as such. If we see someone in need we should lend a hand.

4. Wards value integrity, and we frown upon players who buy gold or use power leveling services for easy gain. The practice dilutes the playing experience and trivializes the efforts many of us have put into our characters.

5. Acts or words of hatred, bigotry, and general ill intent against other Kin Members, Kinships, and individual gamers will not be tolerated.

6. Kin who act in an unacceptable manner will be removed from the kinship.

7. So that there are no unjust dismissals by officers of the Kin, all cases of persons being removed from the Kinship shall be reviewed by a minimum of one other officer.

8. Attendance is not mandatory, but the officers will, at their discretion, remove Kin members from the roll who have been absent 45 days or more. If you have to take an extended leave please shoot an officer a mail or post an AFK notice on the Kin forums. If you have been absent and wish to rejoin, contact an officer.

9. We are the Wards against the coming darkness. We will fight for all the Free Peoples of Middle Earth.

Hey there Ladies and Lambs! Looking for a group of cool people to play LotRO with? Wards of Eriador just might be the place for you!

Wards is a max rank Kinship (rank 10), looking for new members in all classes, races, and levels. We a very freindly and helpful bunch who make regular raids, and have plenty of people at all levels to group with to get those pesky group quests, and awesome storyline book instances taken care of.

Why join us when every kinship on the server has the same spiel? Easy! First, We are a Rank 10 Kinship. That means we have all the perks and none of the wait you may get with a younger kin.

Second, We understand that this is a game. That means we all have real lives that we take care of before the game. We don't require any hours a week or raids per month, your level of commitment is up to you, based on how much fun you want to have.

Third, We are state of the art! Haha, just kidding. But seriously, we do try to have all the fancy toys that make groups more fun. We have a big website, forums, raid calender with sign-ups, and even a vent server. (Ventrilo is a superior voice chat service.) And all these fancy things help us get up to the Rift, and other dungeons as often as possible. Fourth, and most important, Wards will be going the distance. If AoC, or any other new MMO, was going to kill us, it already would have. We know that many other Kins have been taken down by this, and we have lost a member or two already. But the Kin as a whole, with a large base of players, are here to stay, through Moria and beyond. Hopefully all the way to Gondor!
