This effect is active on Utug-bûr Crypt-guardians during The Temple of Utug-bûr - Dhórgruth raid.
Tactical Information
While this aura is active, the Crypt-guardian will protect nearby allies by inflicting a 
Fell-shield upon them. In doing, the Guardian himself will receive a damage debuff called 
Shield of the Dead.
