Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Entwash Vale deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. You must defeat the orcs without assistance from the Blackroots. Enemies attacked or defeated by the Blackroots will not count for this quest. If you aggro Blackroots, he is likely to one shot defeat the character (who respawns in the instance to continue) so stay well clear. Sticking to the mission barrier edges helps avoid being surrounded by enemy mobs. Defeat 10 orcs to complete the quest. To leave the instance either return to and interact with, the Return to Eaworth horse at the instance spawn-in location. Or, more easily in the murky woods, right click the character portrait and use the 'Leave Instance' feature.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'A large group of Orcs has been working within the Entwalk, a section of forest along the Eaves of Fangorn. Every tree the Orcs cut down is another volley of arrows, strut of a siege-weapon, or piece of pallisade. We cannot allow them to have these resources unchecked. 'Head into the forest and disrupt their activities by defeating any Orcs you find within the Entwalk.' Background Orcs are maurading through the Entwalk, cutting down the forest to create their encampments and siege-weapons. Objective 1 Defeat Orcs in the Entwalk (0/10) Orcs can be found in the Entwalk. Dernstan has asked you to venture within the Entwalk and defeat the Orcs pillaging the forest. Dernstan: 'Any tree kept standing is a volley of arrows that we do not have to endure. Are you ready to venture into the Entwalk?' Enter the Public Instance: The Entwalk Objective 2 Talk to Dernstan Dernstan is at Eaworth. Dernstan will be pleased to hear that the Orcs within the Entwalk have been thinned. Dernstan: 'Many more Orcs will come to the Entwak and will replace those defeated today, but for now you have afforded us a short respite.'
