Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue Brigands out of the Stonedeans plot to murder Lady Lúfa, the young wife of Thane Ordlac of Oserley. The Thane has devised a plan of his own that appears to heartlessly use his wife as bait for the trap.... Background Lúfa has retired for the evening, leaving you to stand guard against the anticipated attempt upon her life. Objective 1 Secure the windows and door Check the windows and doors to make sure they are secured. The windows and door are securely locked Objective 2 Defend Lúfa against the White Hand's hirelings Defend Lúfa against the White Hand's hirelings. Defended Lúfa against the White Hand's hirelings Lúfa says, "What happened? Did the brigands indeed try to kill me?" Objective 3 Check the corpse of the brigand leader for evidence Check the corpse of the brigand leader for evidence. You have found a dagger, covered with a slimy black substance Objective 4 Talk to Lúfa in Ordlac's house Lúfa is at Ordlac's house in Oserley. Speak with Lúfa and make sure that she is unharmed. Lúfa: 'Aye, I am unharmed...is that all of them? Are there any hiding in the shadows?' You have defended Lúfa from her would-be murderers Lúfa: 'You...you saved my life! How may I repay you?'
