Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'My favourite addition to the festival this year is certainly the lovely summer-themed kites! When I fly them, I picture that I’m up there myself, like a bird. But then I get frightened of the idea of being so high up, and pull them back down. Never can be too careful! 'You should go fly some for yourself, <name>! The craftsmanship is simply marvellous.' Background Kites can be flown at the Summer Festival from various locations in Hobbiton. NOTE: This quest will be removed from your quest log when the event it is associated with ends. Objective 1 Fly Kites in Hobbiton (0/5) Kite-flying locations can be found throughout Hobbiton encircling the Party Tree. They are atop the Hill, near the Appledores, on the river-front south of the Grange, on the hill with a campfire to the east of the Party Tree, and in the meadow to the east of Bag End. You should fly each of the summer-themed kites and enjoy the summer breezes. Flew a summer kite (5/5) Objective 2 Return to Hargold Hardbottle Hargold Hardbottle can be found at the party tree in Hobbiton. You should speak with Hargold Hardbottle.
