Walkthrough & Notes

Walkthrough: The tank fights with his back to the forge, the others fight behind Thaguzg. This way melee classes (except of course the tank) won't be harmed by the special attacks Thaguzg does. Assign a person to each of the four doors of the room (one person for two doors is possible too). From these doors the adds will come. The adds walk slowly and are easily killed, but nevertheless need to be killed in time. Ranged classes are perfect for this task. If there are no adds, everyone fights Thaguzg. Note: It was once possible to enter and activate the boss in stealth mode, to prevent Thaguzg's first heavy attack to reach the whole fellowship. This has been fixed though, and it has no use to enter this way.

Quest Text

Background Once filled with the thunder of dwarf-hammers and smiths, the Halls of Crafting are now dominated by foul Orcs. Led by the evil Black Uruk, Thaguzg, they are building weapons for a massive assault upon Lothlórien itself. Objective 1 Defeat Thaguzg Do not let Thaguzg's minions reach him Note: This is a Challenge quest, which means you will automatically obtain it when entering the Halls of Crafting. After defeating Thaguzg you don't have to hand in: you will automatically receive the rewards.
