Bestowal dialogue

'It matters not the skill of a cook if the ingredients are of such poor quality. However, I believe I can save this dish with a bit of seasoning.

'I believe a touch of mint would help...you can find mint growing in the grassy places to the north-west. If you would bring me some, I would appreciate it.'

Background

Indor was not at all pleased with the taste of his toad-stew, but believes that he can save it with some seasoning.

Objective 1

  • Collect mint (0/6)

Mint can be found in the grassy areas to the north-west of Echad Candelleth.

Indor has asked you to collect some mint to help season his toad-stew.

Objective 2

Indor is at the campfire at Echad Candelleth, in Tâl Bruinen, south-east of the fields where you collected the mint.

Indor: 'Very good, <name>! This mint smells very fresh and should cover the foul taste of the toad.
'Do me a favour and grind it on that grinding stone, will you?'
Indor says, "Grind them up right over there, like before."

Objective 3

  • Grind the mint on the grinding stone

The grinding stone is near the campfire at Echad Candelleth.

Indor has asked you to grind the mint you gathered on the nearby grinding stone.

You crush the mint into a paste

Objective 4

  • Bring the mint paste to Indor

Indor is at the campfire at Echad Candelleth, in Tâl Bruinen.

You have crushed the mint into a paste and should now bring it to Indor so he can add the finishing touches to the toad-stew.

Indor: 'The smell is improved some...'
Indor tastes the stew and grimaces.
'But alas, the stew tastes like freshly-turned earth. What can be done...?'
