• The set bonus  Resonant Ballads in the Watcher of Resolve trait tree makes the effect Ballad Healing Bonus increase Outgoing Healing Rating by an additional 3%, and it makes this skill decrease the cooldown of Cry of the Chorus by 2s.
  
• The trait  Songs of Woe in the Protector of Song trait tree increases the critical chance of this skill by up to 5%.

Tactical Information

Major Ballad is a somewhat weaker heal for Healing Minstrels. It is most commonly used to build up Ballad Healing Bonus, which is Minstrel's strongest healing ballad buff, and to restore Power. Blue Minstrel is famously strapped for Power, so this skill is the go-to Power restore if low.
