Description

A Kinship that thrives on trying to stand out from the rest. We want you to feel like our friend, not just a kin member. We want to help you become part of something more, a brotherhood if you will. We want you to log-on knowing you have a kinship that:

1. Is willing to help you on those difficult quests that are just too hard to solo. 2. Has the resources to answer your questions & point you in the right direction 3. Recognizes & Rewards you for helping the kinship grow & run like a well oiled machine. 4. Is here for the long run & has end game goals like raiding & PvMP combat, so you don't have to feel like the game is over at the level cap.

So come join us, help us grow into a huge powerhouse of a kin ... be a Knight of Nobility!!!

Requirements

Recruit Status (No Flag) Requirements: There are a few "requirements" to become part of our kinship. Must be of 18+ years of age & we'd prefer that your main character be at least level 35, that should be good enough to get you in. However, how much you get out of the kinship is solely up to you. There will be events, raids, fellowship quests, crafting & much more going on here within the kin. If you do decide to contribute & participate in making the kin grow, you most definitely will advance within the kin into higher ranks, eventually capping at officer which comes with as much responsibility as it does benefits & rewards. Nothing goes unnoticed here & you can count on our officers to be friendly, kind & extremely helpful.

Member Status (Blue Flag) Requirements: Participation is key here. If we see you playing the game regularly, participating in fellowships & raids with others within the kin, being sociable & helpful, just may get you qualified for promotion after 30 days.

Officer Status (Red Flag) Requirements: This is the highest rank you can receive in the kin. This is a very prestigious rank indeed. You are one of the few & are now part of the elite leaders of the kin. You have been hand-picked by the leader himself, you have achieved great respect & honor within the kin by showing leadership skills & have what it takes for people to look up to you. You'll gain access to the Kinhall Treasury Chests (if available) & can now recruit people into the kin. To be considered for this position you may NOT be part of any other kin in any way whatsoever, this also includes alts. The reasoning behind this is simple ... you are now going to have access to things that are exclusive to our ranking officers & we do not want any conflicts or issues arrising that may put your loyalty to the kin in question, this is non-negotiable. Also, we'd prefer you be Level 35 or above, own a Horse, have full audio capabilities (hear & speak) & have Grand Mastered a profession in one or more of the following; Cook, Scholar, Jeweller, Metalsmith, Tailor, Weaponsmith & or Woodworker. Of course these "requirements" are just something we'd prefer in our officers, it isn't always the case, we promote pretty much who we see fit for the position.

History

This kinship was founded on October 4th of 2007 by a group of 5 players who enjoyed playing together often & shared the same views on how the game should be played. Madmardegan has had to step up into the leadership position as of November 19 of 2007, which he takes very seriously. He's working hard day & night to try & make this kin grow by leaps & bounds into a real powerhouse in the LOTRO universe.

Helpful Hints, Tips & Info

"Madmartigun's Leveling Guide for Levels 1 - 60"

'Where do I go now?' We've all wondered where do we go next. So here's a helpful guide on where to go, along with the locations of each of these areas.

Level 1 - 13: Elves start in Cellondim/Duillond/Gondoman. Dwarves start in Thorin's Gate/Nogland/Gondoman. Hobbits start in Michel Delving/Hobbiton/Overhill/Brokenborings. Humans start in Archet/Combe/Staddle.

Level 13 - 15: My recommendation is to travel to one of the 10 - 13 level cities & complete quests there. They will be Blue & Green, so they should be easy to complete & will get you levels rather quick. Elves & Dwarves should then swift travel to Bree & complete quests in Staddle/Combe. Humans & Hobbits should then swift travel to Cellondim & complete quests in Duillond/Gondoman.

Level 15 - 17: At this point I would head to Bree-land. Find quests within Bree & at Adso's Camp (29S, 56.8W), Buckland (33.3S, 62.4W), & Falco's Folly (26S, 53.9W). You should also be able to work through some of Book 1 very easily. Adso's Camp will have you running around the Southern Bree-fields. Buckland will send you into the Old Forest. This can be tough, but there are some great maps & resources available online if you need some help. Falco's Folly will begin sending you into the North Bree-fields for a few quests.

Level 17 - 20: Now you have two options to choose from. You have solo quests from the Forsaken Inn located in the Lone Lands or you can begin the series of quests in the Barrow-Downs located in Bree-land. The first few quests in the Barrow-Downs are solo's, but they quickly turn into quests that you will need to complete with fellowships. All of these quests will eventually end with a series of instanced quests in the games first major instance, The Greater Barrows. This instance is designed for levels 21 - 25 in my opinion. You should also be able to complete Book 1 during these levels, if you already haven't done so.

Level 21 - 25: Now to begin Book 2. You should also begin trying to get into the Greater Barrows area. There are 5 quests here to complete. Each of these will score you some good gear as well as great experience. You can also make your way to Ost Guruth (31.3S, 29.6W) in the Lone Lands to continue through your Lone Lands quests. If you work through some of the Fellowship quests during these levels you should easily hit 25 without having to travel to Trestlebridge. But if you are running a bit low you can begin a few quests at Trestlebridge in the North-Downs (head north out of Bree following the road).

Level 25 - 30: At this point the North-Downs will be your primary home for a while. You can complete quests in Trestlebridge, Amon Raith (12.6S, 52.8W), Meluinin (13.7S, 44.9W), Othrikar (6.9S, 44.9W) & Esteldin (9.7S, 42.1W). The North-Downs is full of quests & you shouldn't have a tough time completing most of them. You should also complete Book 2 during your last few levels back in the Lone-Lands. When you complete this book a series of quests in the region of Angmar (29.7S, 27.3) will open up. These quests lead to the instance of Garth Argarwen, the second major instance for the game. There are a total of 9 quests to complete inside of this instance. I would begin these quests around level 32. It's tough inside of there, but there is great loot & experience to be made there. You can begin Book 3 in the North-Downs during this time as well.

Level 31 - 35: Now you have the chance to travel to Esteldin. You can begin quests in Oatbarton (23.4S, 67.4W). These quests will lead you up to Tinnundur (12.2S, 67.4W). You will also still be able to work through quests in Esteldin (which sends you primarily to Dol Dinen in Fellowship quests). You can also begin running Garth Argarwen back in the Lone-Lands if you haven't already done so. During this time I would finish Book 3 as well. Don't forget to begin saving your money, at level 35 you will be able to get your very own mount. At 34 you can also begin to make your way into the Trollshaws. Head to Ost Guruth in Lone-Lands & follow the road east across The Last Bridge. You can stop by a camp at (34S, 20.2W) for a few easy quests or make your way to Thorenhad at (31.7S, 15W) for a few quests. Eventually continue along the road & make your way to Rivendell. This trek to Rivendell can be tough, but it is possible. You can grind a bit on the easier mobs near the Last Bridge if you are just looking for experience.

Level 35 - 40: You can finish up your quests at Tinnundur in Evendim & make your way north to Ost Forod for a few more quests. Complete your quests in Esteldin (some lead you into the Ram Duath in south Angmar). The Trollshaws will have some quests in Thorenhad & Rivendell for you as well. You can also begin on Book 4. At around level 38 you can also begin to get a group for the next major instance, Fornost, located north of Amon Raith in North-Downs. This is a tough instance, but yet again the loot & experience make it worthwhile. I believe that there are 7 quests inside this instance. If you need to grind some experience you can always spend some time just outside of Rivendell grinding on the easier mobs for decent, however not great, experience.

Level 40 - 50: At this point you've only got two real options. Angmar, The Misty Mountains & Forochel. Angmar has quests in Lehma-Koti (3S, 39.1W) & Aughair (3N, 39.5W). Misty Mountain quests are mostly found in Rivendell or Gloin's Camp (24.9S, 3.8W). You can also travel to the Ettenmores to take part in PvMP combat as part of the Free Peoples. Forochel is a GREAT area for levels 45+ & is for the most part all soloable, not to mention some really great quest rewards. There are a number of instances that are available as well. You can also work through Books 4 - 15 during this time as well! There are always extra places & other options that become available to you as you make your way through Eriador.

Level 51 - 60: If you have purchased the Mines of Moria expansion & reach level 51+ you can now start working your way through Eregion & beyond into Moria ... very treacherous, yet very rewarding. First travel to Echad Dunan which is on the Southeastern part of the Eregion Map & start Volume 2 of the epic storyline. Once you complete Vol.2 Book 1, which is entirely soloable, you will unlock Legendary Item usage. Do this as soon as you hit level 50, so that you can start leveling up those L.I.'s as you quest through Eregion & Moria. Lothlorien which is the new area which has opened up east of Moria as you exit is available as well. However I wouldn't venture out there at least not until you have completed all your necessary deeds within Moria & reached at least level 58.

Good luck on your adventures as you rise to the top & become a legendary Knight of Nobility.
