Item Index Attribute Abbreviations

The following table lists Attributes found on Items and the abbreviations that should be used for them when they are listed on an Item Index Page. We use abbreviations for Attributes on Item Index pages instead of the entire Attribute name for the following reasons:

  • To make the Index easier to read
  • To make the Index shorter and more concise, therefore more usable
  • To make quick scanning through lots of Items on the Index easier

If an Attribute is not listed in this table, then the full name of the Attribute should be used on Item Index pages.
