As of Wind & Waves Chapter 1.10
- "If I have the time, I would like to sketch the flowers of Imloth Melui."
- "The King has chosen me to keep the record of his journey."
- "I am from the village of Ethring, far to the west."
- "I had never seen Imloth Melui before now. It is very beautiful."
- "I admired the Swan-knight Rossaran when I was just a boy. Now I journey alongside him!"
- "Our journey is only beginning. Where next will it lead?"
- "No foe will trouble the King while I yet live!"
- "Spears and swords and shields; all of these safe-guard the King."
- "I would lay down my life for the King. So would we all."
- "We will protect King Elessar with our lives."
- "The war may be over, but we will not let our vigilance lapse."
- "The safety of the King is in good hands."
- "Did you speak with my brother? He is around here somewhere."
- "It will be pleasant to see the kingdom of Gondor in time of peace."
- "The flowers of Imloth Melui are varied and beautiful."
- "Lossarnach is quite different in the light of day."
- "I am eager to see my wife Bruidis once again."
- "It has been long since I returned to Tadrent."
- "I fear not for Tadrent, for Bruidis will have looked after it."
- "The King asked me to accompany him as far as Belfalas, and of course I agreed."
- "My only fear is that my bow-skill may suffer, if it is not tested from time to time."
- "Elladan and I would refuse Elessar nothing."
- "This tour of Gondor should be much less dangerous than were the Paths of the Dead!"
- "You should seek out Elladan. He always enjoys your company."
- "I am the King's groom, and I look after the horses for the whole company."
- "The King's horses must be treated well if they are to carry this party across Gondor."
- "I have what I need to repair any broken shoes the horses suffer upon the roads of Gondor."
- "Horses need food and care just as Men do; perhaps even more!"
- "Líniel and I are the heralds of King Elessar. We proclaim his arrival wherever he goes."
- "It is my duty to announce the arrival of the King as he travels his kingdom."
- "When the folk of Gondor see their King, they will rejoice!"
- "King Elessar has determined to see his kingdom."
- "King Elessar desires to do as much good for his people as he can."
- "We will bring some of these goods with us when we depart."
- "As the King's provisioner, it is my duty to ensure the travelling party is well supplied."
- "We must bring our own supplies., We must not burden the towns we visit."
