This buff can be gained by handing in Broken Chain Link, a special item won in the Rift from Thaurlach, completing the quest The Fall of Thaurlach at Glorfindel in Rivendell. The buff gives +1 Hope for 3 hours and cannot be wiped by defeat. Everyone in the vicinity of Glorfindel at the time of handing in will receive it.
