Help talk:Article Creation

I stumbled upon this article by chance (there you go, I have not read everything ... yet).

The first section is not exactly what many other help-pages read. However, it would in fact make article creation simpler if we suggested what the two section really says, somewhat extrapolated here:

1. Use the "create new xxx" feature but do not use any special characters.
2. Within the article as such the editor should use correct special characters and continue as usual.
3. Create a redirect by moving the page to the correct spelling
   • Either the editor can "move" the page himself, or...
   • An editor/ninja/admin moves the page when patrolling recent changes.

If you approve this we need some minor clarifications at some help pages, maybe at the create-new-xxx pages. This article needs no major editing though ;)

In my humble opinion I think this is easier than to create redirects as a second step as that part is done automagically when moving a page. The issue is rather to convey the message ;) -- Zimoon (talk) 15:47, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
