Description

In T.A. 1975, the Elf Captain of the Thoroval led his ship and crew on an expedition into the Ice-bay of Forochel, sent by Lord Círdan to rescue Arvedui, King of Arthedain, and his followers from their plight following the fall of the North Kingdoms. Though his crew were able to rescue Arvedui and his fellows, the terrible storms of the Witch-king broke the Thoroval upon the ice, and almost all onboard, including the captain, perished, and were lost to the Ice-bay.
