Description

The Dievlig (The Accursed) are an exiled clan of Dunlendings living in the Bonevales, where the ancient dead from all of Dunland are interred. Originally they were Oathbreakers, driven to the Bonevales as punishment. They are hostile to both other Dunlendings and the Grey Company. They do not worship a clan animal spirit, instead they seem to worship the spirits of the dead, and have fallen under control of ancient spirits. They have raising the dead, so the spirits roaming the land can be seen as members of the clan. A few of the clan are opposed to this and will support a change.

Face Paint and clan identifiers

The Dievlig tend to wear white face paint (presumably bone colour), the most common design being paired straight lines, either a single set through the left eye, or three pairs from the bridge of the nose. They also have banners and poles with clan designs.
