Detach Tooltip

Detach Tooltip (also called "pinning a tooltip") is a command (bound to the 'H' key by default) that detaches a visible tooltip for an item, creature, or effect (seen by mousing over the target) from its normal position and fixes it on the screen such that it can be repositioned as needed and it will stay visible even without mousing over the target. Multiple tooltips can be detached simultaneously.

The detached tooltips can be dismissed by clicking the X in the top-right corner of the tooltip, or pressing Esc will dismiss all detached tooltips. A maximum of 20 tooltips can be detached simultaneously

Detaching tooltips is helpful for a number of situations:

• In a difficult fight such as a raid boss with multiple targets, the tooltip for each target can be detached so that all of their Morale can be viewed simultaneously.
• When examining or comparing items, the tooltips for the items can be detached so that their stats can be viewed simultaneously.
