This category is used for locations that function as marketplaces or centers of trade, most commonly bazaars, markets, trading squares, fairs, and other places where goods are bought, sold, or exchanged. These locations are often Landmarks and may be open-air spaces or partially enclosed structures rather than Interiors.

Marketplaces that are permanently attached to residential buildings should be additionally categorized under Category:Dwellings.
