Boars

- Despite the many dangers which lurk in the dark corners of the woods and mountains, Middle-earth is not solely populated by evil beasts and monsters. In nearly every region, animals of a most natural order can be found roaming, going about their own business. Not all of these animals are harmless, however. There are many dangers which do not serve the Enemy in Mordor. Boars of every kind are often found in plains and woodlands. Though none are as terrifying or as mighty as the great boar of Everholt that once terrorized the Firien Wood in Rohan. These tusked pigs are generally wild and vicious. Care should be taken when travelling through the woods, for the rustle in the underbrush may not be a hare or squirrel.
- Boars are found in almost all of the lands of Middle-earth. They come in a variety of sizes, from squealing piglets up to Gigantic Razorback Behemoth. A number of quests involve killing boars and collecting boar-parts - these are often associated with feeding hungry people - apparently the peoples of Middle-earth have a great taste for pork. Boars are normally hostile, rather than outright aggressive. When approached, they will "threaten to attack" and if you leave their immediate vicinity fast enough, combat can be avoided. In general, a running character can safely run by boars, as long as he does not stop.
- Boars will usually charge for their initial attack, and they have a possibility to Stun an opponent if the charge attack hits.
