Trolls were among the many foul creatures that fled to Elderslade following Morgoth's demise. During the Second Age, a vengeful Lord Brúni led a campaign against the trolls, earning himself the title of Trollbane. The dwarves slaughtered the trolls of the region and drove the survivors into the Ettenmoors. Despite this, trolls have returned to Elderslade and now endanger efforts to retake Gundabad.

Many Trolls can also be found in the Azgh-buzru, the War-fell.
Slaying Trolls inside the instance Shakalush, the Stair Battle, also count towards this deed. A 6-man level 130 Tier 1 run will be the most efficient one.
