Grey Mountains on its Own Page?

I just found that Grey Mountains led here, which maybe is OK. But I wonder if the fictional Grey Mountains should have its own page? I think I have never read about "Withered Heath" in Prof. Tolkien's works, but I may be wrong. Other thoughts? — Zimoon 14:30, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

I would think that Grey Mountains might properly redirect straight to Ered Mithrin, though I can see why it would be more helpful to send someone to the region page for Ered Mithrin and Withered Heath rather than to just the Ered Mithrin area page. The Withered Heath is labeled on a few of Tolkien's maps and comes up once or twice in The Hobbit- real early on though, and not much more than 'that place up north in the Grey Mountains where all the giant dragons came from'. I'd be inclined to leave the Grey Mountains redirect as it is or, if we want to be particular, send it to Ered Mithrin instead of Ered Mithrin and Withered Heath. I think sending the redirect to the region page is more helpful, overall, but that's just me. Thalion (talk) 20:24, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
I would also leave the redirect as is, to the region page. It explains at the top of the page what 'Ered Mithrin' and 'Withered Heath' stand for. —RoyalKnight5 (talk) 08:32, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Now you have wet my appetite on re-studying Tolkien's maps, Thalion ;-)
Yeah, and it is also possible to extend the lore section if needed. The Grey Mountains are mentioned quite often in the many books but I think they do not play any major role so a page of its own might be very thin I guess. Thanks for your thoughts! — Zimoon 11:11, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
