Providing a "table of contents" so to speak for a gallery listing of all cosmetic styles in game (equipment and outfits). The intention is to show the styles all dyed in a single color (Crimson) to better identify hues and the specific parts that are affected when dyed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Savitara (Contribs • User Talk).

An ambitious project! I like the idea of using a constant dye across many items. Have you seen Outfits? That page is limited to purely cosmetic items, and I'm not sure whether it's complete, but there are quite a few items that have already been gathered there. -- Elinnea (talk) 01:05, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

It certainly will be a long-term project! But hopefully others are interested,which may speed things up as well ^_^ I did indeed stumble across Outfits earlier. O btw, if I come across images that show crimson dyed items may I add an _Crimson to the file name? Or is it better to upload a new image with that extension? Savi (talk) 09:54, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

I'm not sure that it matters greatly. For most items, any existing pictures of the cosmetic are probably going to be in the dye they came with. If that was a Crimson dye, adding _Crimson or not to the file name is mostly superfluous. Good for keeping a uniformity of style on naming, I suppose, but in cases where it's the only image of an item that comes in a crimson dye to start with, I don't imagine it'd make much difference. -- JnK (talk) 13:05, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

Updating? and proposal to reorganize

It looks like this page was up to date, at best, back in 2012. I'm looking to try to organize items by appearance, see User:Skalchemisto/model for my idea. I think this page could be repurposed into a broader way to organize items with identical cosmetic appearance. Skalchemisto! (talk) 01:49, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
