Ore samples are found near the rock outcroppings of Blomley Sward. Visit the landmarks in any order and defeat beasts along the route. The equipment to fix are found within the wharf.

Bestowal Dialogue

'While I find your words compelling, it is not for me to decide whether or not you join the League of the Axe. No, it is for your own skills and actions to decide. I will give you a test to prove yourself worthy of joining the League.

'Knowing the land is an important skill for our cause. I ask of you to scout the hunting grounds and mine entrances in the Wildwood. There is more, however. Extracting resources from these lands in a way that does not hurt the Wildwood is just as important to our prosperity and survival. I ask of you to return with both pelts and samples of ore that you deem worthy of trade.'

Background

The League of the Axe wishes to hunt the forests and mine the hills of the Wildwood of Bree-land, once the woods have been properly scouted.

Enid Nettlesting: 'I see that you have accomplished all that I have asked, and with good judgement and knowledge. Do you think you can join the League of the Axe now? No, for you still need to be tested on your skill and your work ethic. The League works as a family. We all take turns repairing our traps, as without them, there would be no League.

'I ask of you to repair the broken bear traps, fish traps, and sharpen pickaxes scattered around Trader's Wharf. If you accomplish all these tasks well, you will be a member of the League of the Axe. If you fail to repair any, you will only be welcome here to trade with us.
