Nykr has not yet returned, and I worry greatly for his safety. Would you search for him? 'You should begin by retracing our steps back from the mining site to here...though if he were on a main and well-trodden path, surely he would have been encountered by now! Perhaps he got disoriented, or lost? The rails and paths twist and turn so, especially around the southern parts of Menem-berej and Menem-munz....' Background The expedition on which Gufi led you was a disaster. Upon his arrival back at the Deep Descent, he noticed that his friend Nykr had not yet returned, and wishes you to search for the missing dwarf. Objective 1 Search for Nykr Nykr was lost around the mining site near the Deep Descent. Gufi wishes you to search for Nykr, who was lost during the commotion. There is something clutched in the rigid hand of Nykr's corpse Objective 2 Return to Gufi Gufi can be found in the Deep Descent in Moria. You should return to Gufi to tell him the sad news of Nykr's death. Gufi: 'Nykr dead! This is a tragedy beyond bearing. He was a friend to many, reliable, kind... Alas! It will not be easy to spread this sad news.'
