Bestowal dialogue

'Good day to you, young fellow. Seems I'm in a spot of trouble, and I wonder if you could help me?

'You see, I've got a couple of cooks who're waiting on eggs from my chickens, but the problem is I've gone and hurt my leg. It's nothing serious, but I can't get out there and gather the eggs them cooks need. Now I don't want to disappoint them, so I was wondering if you could make the rounds and check the nests for eggs?

'The nests are just out in the yard. Four or so eggs should be enough. A bit of warning though, don't let the rooster see you gathering eggs. If he does, he'll let out a call that'll get all the hens upset, and worse -- you're sure to be so surprised that you'll drop the eggs you collected!'

Background

Farmer Sandson has hurt his leg and cannot tend to his chickens or their nests.

Objective 1

  • Collect eggs (0/4)
  • Avoid the rooster

The chicken nests are around Farmer Sandson's yard.

Farmer Sandson has asked you to gather some eggs from his chicken nests, but warned you to stay away from the rooster. If he sees you while you are gathering the eggs, they will call out and upset the other chickens. Furthermore, you are sure to drop the eggs you've collected!

Farmer Sandson: 'Just go on out there and search the nests for eggs. Shouldn't be too hard to find enough of them.
'Remember, don't let the rooster see you, or he'll get the whole flock upset and the hens won't be laying for days! Worse still, he crows so suddenly that it can startle someone something fierce -- you might drop the eggs!'

Objective 2

Farmer Sandson is at his farm, west of Waymeet.

You managed to gather enough eggs without being noticed by the rooster. You should take them back to Farmer Sandson.

Farmer Sandson: 'Good, you've found the eggs!
'Now, if you are still able to help, I've more work for you. With my leg ailing me, I couldn't possibly deliver them!'
