Bestowal dialogue NOTE: This quest was only available in 2008! 'I need your aid, <name>. The agents of Angmar are on the move. 'I, among others, was sent forth from Rivendell to recover fragments of the Ring-lore of Eregion from the minions of the Enemy. Alas, we came too late. The Enemy has collected many of these lost fragments and are now bringing them to Amarthiel. 'If you wish to aid me, go forth and defeat the servants of Angmar and bring any fragments of Ring-lore you find to a Herald of Rivendell. The fragments will most likely be found upon the two-legged servants of the Enemy in Forochel, the Misty Mountains, Tâl Bruinen, Angmar, Annúminas, Haudh Iarchith, or Sarnúr.' Background The Ring-lore of Eregion was lost long ago, but some fragments of it may yet remain. Elrond Halfelven has sent forth many Heralds to try and recover as much of it as possible before Amarthiel can use it to reforge Narchuil. Objective 1 The two-legged servants of Angmar who bear fragments of Ring-lore can only be found in Forochel, the Misty Mountains, Tâl Bruinen, Angmar, Annúminas, Haudh Iarchith, and Sarnúr.
